Kommuninvest issues EUR 500 million in new Green Bond

Kommuninvest today issued EUR 500 million in a new Green Bond. This was the 17th green transaction so far.

Investor interest for the new bond, which matures on 2027-03-15, was strong. The order book included more than 100 investors, with a total interest of above EUR 4 billion. The transaction was priced at 8 basis points below mid-swaps.

After this transaction, Kommuninvest has a total of around SEK 72 billion outstanding in 10 Green Bonds – six of which are in SEK, two in USD and two in EUR.

– I am happy to note that our Green Bonds are meeting high demand in all our three strategic funding markets. This was yet another positive transaction in the EUR market. Our Green Bonds Programme is continuously driven forward by very active sustainability work within the municipal sector in Sweden, says Tobias Landström, Deputy Head of Debt Management at Kommuninvest.
