Feel free to celebrate Data Protection Day - but be sure to invest in the long-term awareness
Today, January 28, we celebrate the International Data Protection Day. A good opportunity to draw attention to the need for increased focus on how we ensure our digital integrity. But the important thing is not to celebrate the day itself. We need to invest in the long-term awareness and understanding of digital integrity.
Robert Willborg, CISO at Junglemap, provides three concrete suggestions on how organizations can work long-term with digital integrity:
- Keep track of what data you have and process.
- Keep track of your analyzes and impact assessment, what you should do, how and when.
- Make sure your coworkers understands and can comply with the requirements of the business - prioritize awareness training.
