日立の英国都市間高速鉄道計画向け車両が英国のサウサンプトン港に到着
株式会社日立製作所(執行役社長兼COO:東原 敏昭／以下、日立)が2015年1月に笠戸事業所(山口県下松市)より出荷した、英国運輸省(DfT : Department for Transport)の都市間高速鉄道計画(IEP : Intercity Express Programme)向け先行生産車5両(1編成)のClass800が、英国のサウサンプトン港に到着しました。
その到着を祝し、本日、英国のクリア・ペリー運輸政務次官をはじめ、日立レールヨーロッパ社、株式会社日立物流(執行役社長:中谷 康夫／以下、日立物流)および海運会社であるWallenius Wilhelmsen社(ワレニウス・ウィルヘルムセン)などの関係者による到着セレモニーが同港にて開催されました。
