How to Check Radiation Level in Mobile Phone?
In general, radiation level of mobile phones calculated by its SAR values. SAR represents Specific Absorption Rate. Every mobile manufacture company sets a limit on the SAR value that they emit from their products. SAR value represents the amount of radio frequency energy absorbed by the body while using mobile phone. It is measured in Watts per Kilogram (W/Kg). Higher SAR value denotes higher the radiation levels.
To check for the SAR value, Dial *#07# USSD code in your mobile phone. 1.6W/Kg is the threshold value for the radiation level. If SAR value is less than 1.6 W/Kg, It is ok to use that phone. If SAR values exceeds this threshold limit, consider take necessary steps to avoid radiation affects. Recommend you to change your mobile phone itself if SAR value is high. Because if it is high, you are gonna face lot of health issues like head ache, mental stress, and even cancer in long run.
Here Ive listed the SAR values of some popular mobile manufacture brands :
LG G3 : 0.99 W/kg
LG Nexus 4 : 0.529 W/kg
iPhone 6 Plus : 0.01 W/kg
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 : 1.20 W/kg
Samsung Galaxy S5 : 1.28 W/kg
HTC One (M8) : 1.29 W/kg
InFocus M2 : 1.356 W/kg
One Plus One : 0.270 W/Kg
Among all the listed brands, Infocus M2 has highest radiation level and surprisingly iPhone 6 Plus has just 0.01 W/Kg, which is the least amount of SAR values among all the brands available in the market right now. And similarly, the recent sensation One Plus One is also having less amount of SAR value.
Check for the SAR value while buying a mobile phone. Every mobile handset comes up with Radiation level written on it. Consider buying it if and only if it is low. Otherwise try for the other available options.
If youve already bought mobile with high SAR value, take some mandatory precautions to get rid of radiation. However we cant escape from radiation but we can reduce the effect of it.
Here are some precautions to be taken :
Dont talk on phone for more than 30 mins continuously.
Use earphones/ headphones while you are talking.
Use alternate ears for speaking on phone.
Dont put your phone on shirt /Pant pockets. Keep it on desk or your bag if possible.
Dont keep it near to your bed while sleeping. Consider switching it off/ put it in flight mode.

Follow these precaution to reduce the effect of radiation slightly. You can take up anti radiation patches also.
Ive covered the entire details I guess. Now its your turn. Share this article and help your friends get know this things. BTW share your mobile phone radiation SAR values also so that others can get insights of the radiation level of your phone model. Cheers
