Helsingborg Hosts Impact Innovation Summit 2024: Pioneering Tech, Green, and Social Transformations

On September 17-18, the Impact Innovation Summit (IMIN) will be held in Helsingborg, Sweden. This event is a co-creative meeting place for business, academia, civil society, and the public sector.

IMIN brings together engaged individuals with a common goal of driving technological, green, and social change. By sharing experiences and lessons from different sectors, new collaborations can be created, and new opportunities found.

Around 30+ organisations and entities are among the co-creators. Several of them will hold their own pre-meetings before converging at Helsingborg Arena during the afternoon of September 17. The event will be held mainly in English.

Some of the speakers at Impact Innovation Summit 2024 include:

Daria “Dasha” Krivonos (DK), CEO, Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies
Daria Krivonos is a futurist specialising in strategic risk management and megatrends. She previously worked at A.P. Møller-Mærsk Group and is known for her global trade, climate, and sustainability insights.

Thomas Osdoba (CAN/ESP), Managing Director, NetZeroCities
Thomas Osdoba has extensive experience in sustainability and climate change mitigation. He co-founded EcoDistricts and Clean Energy Works, and now supports cities in achieving climate neutrality by 2030 through NetZeroCities.

Chelsea Collier (USA), Founder, Digi.City
Chelsea Collier founded Digi.City to promote smarter, connected communities. She focuses on technology’s role in addressing civic challenges and serves as editor-at-large for Smart Cities Connect.

Fábio Duarte (BRA/USA), Principal Research Scientist, MIT Senseable City Lab
Fábio Duarte leads urban technology projects at MIT’s Senseable City Lab. His work includes innovative projects like Underworlds and Roboat, and he has consulted for the World Bank.

Erik Fernholm (SE), Co-founder of IDG's & 29k
Erik Fernholm is a thought leader, social entrepreneur, and award-winning keynote speaker with an academic background in cognitive neuroscience and happiness research. He is the co-founder of the Inner Development Goals, 29k Foundation and the Chair of Ekskäret Foundation.
