Hedin Mobility Group announces the consolidation of its retail division under the brand name Hedin Automotive. As one of Europe's largest vehicle retailers, the group aims to streamline operations and enhance customer experience under a unified identity. The rebranding will be completed in the beginning of 2025.
Hedin Mobility Group and BMW have a successful and strategically important partnership in the European car market. To further develop the business, the operations in Norway, Sweden, and Finland are now being coordinated into a unified Nordic organization. To lead the development of the new organization within Hedin Mobility Group, Raine Wermelin is appointed as Chief Operating Officer.
Hedin Automotive is certified as a 2022 Great Place to Work across five companies in in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Switzerland. In March, Bavaria was listed among Sweden´s Best Workplaces™. The company now further added to its credentials as an employer of choice with a top ten ranking on the Best Workplaces List of Norway. Bavaria and sister company Hedin Performance Cars are the first automotive companies making the prestigious lists in Norway.
In 2019, Bavaria Norway took over the majority stake of Bavaria Molde through the acquisition of the BMW and the MINI businesses Brages Bil and Brages Molde. The company now completes the acquisition of the remaining stake from the minority shareholder, becoming the sole owner of Bavaria Molde with its two dealerships in Molde and Kristiansund.
Hedin Mobility Group is one of Europe's largest mobility providers, with more than 12,500 employees and operations in 14 countries. In 2023, estimated Net sales amounted to SEK 81,7 billion (approx. €7,2 billion) and the Group sold more than 218,000 vehicles.
