Hedin Performance Cars continues to invest in Porsche; acquires remaining shares in Porsche Center Son

In 2021, Hedin Performance Cars, a subsidiary of Hedin Mobility Group, increased its shareholding in Porsche Center Son from 51 to 91 percent. The company is now acquiring the remaining shareholding from the minority owner 911 Holding AS and the enthusiast dealer in Son becomes a wholly owned dealership of Hedin Performance Cars.

Since its inception in 1993, Porsche Center Son has built a strong position in the market and has put Norway on the map when it comes to Porsche. In 2017, the dealer opened Porsche Classic Center Son, a 2,000 m2 newly built dealership certified in classic Porsche sales and aftermarket services – one of only four Porsche Classic Centers worldwide. Porsche Center Son employs 45 people and sold more than 900 new and used Porsches in 2021.

Rickard Magnusson, CEO of Hedin Performance Cars said:
"We have a very loyal customer base in Son thanks to our employees who know Porsche inside and out, for which we are grateful and happy. The same dedicated, professional team will continue to create unique customer experiences for new and existing Porsche enthusiasts in Son."

Hedin Performance Cars is a significant Porsche representative in Scandinavia. In Norway, the company conducts sales of new and used cars, including a complete aftermarket business, at dedicated Porsche Centers in Stavanger, Kristiansand, and Son. Earlier this year, the company signed an agreement to establish a brand-new Porsche dealership in Fredrikstad, which is planned to be completed by the end of 2024.

In addition, Hedin Performance Cars operates five Porsche Centers in Sweden, where the company is the largest Porsche retailer on the market in terms of both volume and number of dealerships.
