Press release -
Hedin Automotive Switzerland names new General Manager for Samstagern and Wohlen
Jens Sickendieck has been appointed General Manager of Hedin Automotive´s the two sites in Samstagern and Wohlen. Sickendieck joined the company on May 15, 2021, succeeding Ruedi Wöll who is retiring as after 15 years as General Manager.
With his longstanding track record of accomplishments from the automotive industry, Sickendieck draws from a wealth of experience from companies such as Sixt Leasing Switzerland, autoricardo.ch and from his time as consultant in various automotive companies in the DACH region.
- I’m looking forward to this new challenge in an exciting company with a super talented team. My predecessor, Ruedi Wöll, developed the SeeAll Group into one of the most successful dealerships for BMW and MINI in Switzerland. The former Seeblick Garage in Samstagern and Allmend Garage in Wohlen are renowned well beyond the region for being surprisingly different and noticeably better. Both sites have a long tradition and a noticeable and strong family feel. Following the acquisition by the Hedin Group and the name change to Hedin Automotive in 2020, we now also benefit from the synergies of belonging to strong, international group. The automotive industry is currently undergoing a revolution: digitization, electro-mobility and evolving customer requirements will present us with new challenges in the future. The locations in Samstagern and Wohlen are ideally positioned with an outstanding team of employees. Going forward I will continue to drive customer focus, increase profitability and draw synergies as we continue to successfully grow with Hedin, comments Jens Sickendieck.
Ruedi Wöll joined Seeblick Garage in 1993. In 2006 he bought the company and assumed the position as General Manger. Wöll looks back with pride on the past.
- Surprisingly different, noticeably better is and was the cornerstone of our success. This is a DNA that we fortunately share with Hedin Group. A clear customer and employee focus is at the core of our business, and Jens will continue to develop our strong customer centric culture with motivation and commitment. I look forward to seeing Hedin Automotive continue to succeed in Switzerland through putting customers first and providing unique experiences for new and existing BMW and MINI owners. As I embark on a new chapter in my life I look back at my time in the company with pride and joy. Samstagern and Wohlen are family. I will remain a customer of Hedin Automotive and BMW for life.
Jens Sickendieck is 42 years old, married and has one daughter. He will mainly be based in the Samstagern office.
