Press release -

Greenfood's CEO, David von Laskowski, is a finalist in the Large Company's CEO of the Year Award, 2021.

The winner of the CEO of the Year award will soon be announced, and Greenfood’s David von Laskowski is one of the five finalists in the large company category. He has led Greenfood during an intensive development phase where the company has grown into one of Europe’s largest food groups in healthy and sustainable food.

The CEO of the Year award aims to draw attention to and influence the development towards more value-driven leadership and long-term sustainable business life. With David von Laskowski as President and CEO, Greenfood has grown from being a Nordic company to one of Europe’s largest food groups in healthy and sustainable convenience food.

The Group has achieved great success with, e.g., the food tech company Picadeli, which is now in over 2,000 locations around Europe today. Recently, the company also crossed the Atlantic and was launched on the American market.

“I am incredibly proud to be nominated. But perhaps even more so for the leadership work we jointly conduct in Greenfood. It is the basis for our rapid international expansion, our journey of digitalisation, and for our successful culture,” David von Laskowski, President and CEO of Greenfood Group and Picadeli, said.

David has been working hard to build a culture that is based on trust, transparency, and clarity. Hence clear, continuous and empathic communication ensures that everyone understands their role, their mission and the Group’s direction.

“People who feel secure in their role find it easier to make informed and educated decisions. I am furthermore convinced that a more empathic and human way of communicating will support all individuals on their journey to become the best version of themselves,” David said.
