Radio Globale turns 2

(Milan, 1 February) – GBTIMES Ltd.’s Italian operation marks a milestone today as Radio Globale, its 24-hour radio station, turns 2. Radio Globale, which is broadcast in Milan and Rome, plays Adult Contemporary music and covers the life and sounds of two of Italy’s most vibrant cities.

What sets Radio Globale apart from other radio stations of the genre is its unique relationship with the growing Chinese communities in Italy. “China and Italy both enjoy a long history and a rich cultural heritage. It is something that we want to build on,” Gioia Forti, Editor-in-chief of GBTIMES Ltd., said.

Radio Globale’s programming includes a morning news program with Alberto Tundo and Felice Filippini; Silver Screen, a program dedicated to the world of cinema, hosted by Alessandro Gaudiano; Happy Jack, the music program hosted by Jacopo Ghioldi; and Greta La Cavia which gives tips on ancient remedies for modern ills, hosted by Greta Ubbiali and Jacopo Ghioldi.

Radio Globale can be heard over 101.5MHz in Milan and 100.5 MHz in Rome. For more information about Radio Globale, visit their website at www.radioglobale.it. They can also be found on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RadioGlobale.
