Press release -

Galleri F15 is now looking for a new Director.

Galleri F15 is in an exciting development with ambitious plans. To lead this work and realize F15's and the MOMENTUM biennale’s full potential, Galleri F15 is now looking for a new Director.

The new Director must be knowledgeable and have enthusiasm for the arts and culture in general. You’re a good organizational and network builder, and able to develop the institution both as an attractive destination, cultural and historical actor and as a display center for art. This requires the ability to see the inherent possibilities in the site and the building mass, a good understanding of the art field and a strategic outlook on how the ambitions can be achieved.

You have a creative and confident leadership style and relevant higher education. As a person, you’re goal-oriented and trust-building. In addition, you must be artistically knowledgeable and have a broad network in the art field. Galleri F15 interacts with several different actors, and the right candidate must therefore be able to handle a complex web of actors. Personal eligibility will be emphasized.

Galleri F15 offers competitive conditions in beautiful surroundings on Jeløya in Moss. One hour from Oslo.

All inquiries are treated confidentially, if desired also towards the client in the initial phase. Gallery F15 is covered by the Freedom of Information Act provisions on the right to access applicant lists. The applicant must justify any request for exception. If exceptions are not accepted, the applicant will be notified and given the opportunity to withdraw their application.

Any questions about the position can be directed to Visindi at Mona Wille, tel. 402 15 106, Marius Malmer, tel. 900 96 824 or Anna Camilla Øynes, tel. 414 73 696. Applications with CVs must be sent as soon as possible and no later than the January 26th, 2023.

Galleri F 15 og Momentum

Gallery F 15 was established in 1966 and is one of Norway's oldest and most prestigious exhibition venues for Norwegian and Nordic contemporary arts and crafts. The unique nature of the gallery lies in the unique combination of the art and the site's architecture in a 19th-century courtyard and situated in a historic country house landscape at Jeløy in Moss.

The MOMENTUM BIENNALE was shown for the first time in 1998 and is today one of the most long-standing and important arenas for contemporary art in the Nordics. MOMENTUM is Galleri F 15’s most significant international commitment and is held every two years.
