Conan Exiles Is Heading East

– Funcom teams up with Spike Chunsoft and H2 Interactive to release Conan Exiles digitally and in retail in Japan, Korea, and several other territories in Asia –

– Funcom’s open world survival game Conan Exiles leaves Early Access and launches in full May 8^th on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 –

Oslo, Norway – April 27^th, 2018 – Funcom is excited to announce that Conan Exiles, the studio’s open world survival game launching on May 8^th, will be receiving a broad, localized release in several Asian territories. The company is teaming up with Spike Chunsoft to release Conan Exiles both digitally and in retail across Japan. Funcom is also joining forces with H2 Interactive to release Conan Exiles digitally and through retail stores in Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

“ Conan Exiles is one of our most international releases ever and that can only be achieved with strong, local partners,” says Funcom CEO Rui Casais. “We are both honored and excited to be working with experienced publishers of this caliber. Both Spike Chunsoft and H2 Interactive have a long history of successfully bringing games to market in their territories.”

H2 Interactive will be releasing the PlayStation 4 version both for digital download and in retail throughout Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Singapore. For Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand there will also be a retail release of the PC version. In Korea, the company will be releasing both the PC version and the PlayStation 4 version both digitally and in retail. The release is set to May 8 ^th in all these territories. In Japan, Spike Chunsoft will release the PlayStation 4 version both for digital download and in retail stores across Japan during the summer of 2018. A concrete date will be communicated later.

Funcom is already working closely with a partner in China, managing the local marketing and community efforts there for the digital version of Conan Exiles.

After 14 months of Early Access, Conan Exiles is about to launch complete with new content, features, and its first ever release on the PlayStation 4 platform. More than doubling in size since start of Early Access, the world players will get to explore and survive in come May 8^th spans from burning deserts to the frozen highlands and include never-before-seen locations such as the swamp. Launch also brings with it a wealth of new features, including The Purge, where players must defend their homes and their cities from monsters and other enemy NPCs.

Conan Exiles is an open-world survival game set in the brutal lands of Conan the Barbarian. Here players must survive in a savage world, build their kingdom, and dominate their enemies in brutal combat and epic warfare.
