Press release -
Nike & Flex Partnership Announcement
I am very happy to announce that today, NIKE publicly announced that it has entered into a partnership with Flex, to bring advanced innovation to the NIKE manufacturing supply chain. We are extremely excited to be deepening our relationship with this iconic brand, and proud to be recognized by a true market leader for the innovation we are bringing to their organization and our partnership. A copy of the press release is attached for your reference.
What makes this partnership even more significant is the fact that athletic footwear is an entirely new market category for Flex! This is a very important milestone for the Company, and a great validation of our corporate platform and strategy.
As its sketch-to-scale innovation partner, Flex will produce some of NIKE’s most popular performance footwear. This will involve helping NIKE with innovations in manufacturing processes and supply chain, which ultimately deliver new, high-performance products for athletes.
I can confidently say that NIKE is as excited about this partnership as we are, and both companies recognize our potential to become one of NIKE’s most important strategic partners.
And while we cannot disclose any additional details of what was just publicly announced regarding this partnership, I would like to thank the internal Flex ‘NIKE team’ on this great success and new product category for the Company. This team was led by Mike Dennison with strong support from Tom Fletcher, Tom Wright and several others.
Thank you,
Mike
