The Spanish Tourist Office in Helsinki would like to invite you to our celebration of World Tapas Day, a special event that will take place at our Pala Espanjaa space in Kolme Seppää square, right in the centre of Helsinki.

The special event for journalists and opinion leaders will take place from 11:00 to 12:00 on Friday 14 June 2024. During the event, we will share with you the latest news on tourism in Spain and the best tapas in Spain in 2024 according to Saborea España.

In addition, the Region of Valencia will host offer a paella tasting and showcooking carried out by Spanish and Finnish chefs, and a taste of the best and most authentic regional wines.

But that’s not all! In addition to the special event for professionals, the celebration will continue for the general public on Friday evening and during the whole Saturday 15 June with fun and engaging activities: 16 showcookings, from seafood and fish paella, to Spanish ham cutting, to wine tasting and chocolate and “buñuelo” workshops, free tapas in our wine bar, competitions with amazing prizes and lots of Spanish music.
