For the 31ˢᵗ year, Canon Europe is proud to announce it will partner with Visa pour l’Image, one of the world’s leading photojournalism festivals, during the Pro Week – from 29th August – 5th September 2020. This long-standing partnership highlights Canon’s commitment to photojournalism, from students learning the craft to professionals breaking boundaries in the field.
Again this year, Canon Europe has tailored a student program that takes place in a 2020 edition of Visa Pour's image and sponsored exclusively by Canon Europe. This is to show our continued dedication to photography and support not only existing professionals and prosumers, but also nurture the next generation of photographers in a shared passion, helping them to tell the greatest stories.
Ahead of the world leading photo festival Visa Pour L’Image, Canon makes a big shout out to all up-and-coming photographers. The company invites 200 students to an all-expenses-paid three-day development workshop where they get the opportunity to develop their talents and network with industry professionals.
Canon congratulates winners of the 2018 World Press Photo Awards, and sets out its 2018 commitment to photojournalism by bringing the exhibition this year to Tallinn and Helsinki.
