Falck finds new CFO in Canada
49-year-old Tor Magne Lønnum will take up the position as CFO and join Falck’s Executive Management in September.
Tor Magne Lønnum comes from a similar position with the Canadian international marketing and analysis company Aimia.
In Denmark, Tor Magne Lønnum is best known for his time as CFO in the insurance company TRYG from 2011 to 2016.
Falck’s newly appointed CEO Jakob Riis is pleased that Falck has attracted a capacity like Tor Magne Lønnum.
"For years, Tor has proven that he can contribute to processes where earnings are to be strengthened, and he is able to keep a clear focus on the management task that accompanies working in a large international group", says Jakob Riis, and continues:
"Falck is facing significant challenges in terms of earnings, but at the same time have huge global potential. Tor brings both strong financial and international experience to Falck. I am looking forward to welcoming Tor and start the journey together towards a new and stronger Falck."
Tor Magne Lønnum also looks forward to joining Falck.
"Sometimes an opportunity presents itself that is just too good to pass up. This was one of those opportunities. Falck is an incredibly interesting company, and I have the skills to bring Falck forward" says Tor Magne Lønnum.
He points out that Falck has a very special position.
"Falck has a proud history, a really good brand throughout Scandinavia and a promising international business. Also, now is an exciting time for Falck. I am really looking forward to start working with Jakob Riis and the rest of Falck," says Tor Magne Lønnum.
Falck's chairman, Peter Schütze, is also pleased that Falck's new Executive Management is now in place.
