Fagerhult opens outdoor exhibition with focus on experience

Fagerhult has opened a new exhibition for outdoor lighting directly adjoining the company’s main office and production plant in Habo, Sweden. The exhibition is based on the concept “Walk of Light” and runs along a looped foot path with lighting that interplays with the varying surroundings.

The idea was to create both functional and decorative lighting solutions for all the senses. A dark and gloomy grove of trees has been transformed into a magical place with a welcoming, sparkling glade and an ordinary tunnel is now reminiscent of the artist John Bauer's forest landscapes.

“Inspired by the natural surroundings and with people in focus, we've created experiences with colour, moving lights and sound,” says Maja Laveklint, lighting consultant at Fagerhult, who led the lighting design work.

Each luminaire has been carefully selected and tested in its right environment. LED solutions with presence control also enables us to conserve energy without sacrificing visual comfort and the sense of security.
