Fagerhult Lights Up Lux Awards
At the premier UK lighting event, the Lux Awards, Fagerhult supplied not one but two of the winning projects.
Scooping the coveted ‘Office and Workplace Project of the Year’ was leading M&E consultant, Hoare Lea, whose new home in the Grade II listed, BREEAM ‘Excellent’, Western Transit Shed at King’s Cross is adorned with a range of Fagerhult fittings, most noticeable the Tibi’s, which are positioned in the front-of-house meet and greet space.
Commenting on the Award win, Dominic Meyrick, Partner at Hoare Lea, said “Winning this Award is a team achievement between us as lighting designers in Hoare Lea Lighting and your great products and service levels, I would just like to thank you all for your help and I look forward to continuing to work with you in the future.”
Next up was Newham University Hospital, which was equipped with our Group developed IMI POD lighting solutions. The very embodiment of our collaborative approach, this modular system was developed as part of a consortium consisting of lighting designers, architects and a range of suppliers. The judges referred to the project as ‘sea change’ in healthcare lighting, and a great example of 'lighting for people rather than for buildings’.
