A Nordic classic is born
Combining visual comfort and energy efficiency with a homage to the traditions of Nordic design, Vialume 1 is the latest addition to Fagerhult's street lighting portfolio. Developed in conjunction with ÅF Lighting, Vialume 1 is an ideal solution for lighting pedestrian and bicycle paths, residential areas and smaller city streets.
Vialume 1 is a post top luminaire grounded in the Nordic design tradition and an organic design language. Its advanced LED technology can be further optimised with controls for a holistic approach to exterior lighting, delivering energy savings of up to 40 percent and reduced maintenance, when compared to traditional light sources.
– We have managed to optimise the visual comfort by using our newly developed Advanced Glare Control lenses. The light is distributed through large lenses that sit close together and form a single luminous cluster. This cluster also illuminates the inside of the light opening so that it is visible from a distance. It reduces glare and provides better guidance, says Nils Stjernman, Product & Application Manager at Fagerhult.

The fixture can be tilted steplessly and mounted on Ø 60 mm pole top or arm Ø 42-48 mm, along with pedestrian and bicycle paths, in residential areas and in smaller city streets.
