Press release -

Eurofound has signed a partnership agreement with the European University Institute

Eurofound and the European University Institute (EUI) has signed a new partnership agreement, with the aim to promote research and knowledge in areas related to social policies, employment and working and living conditions in Europe.

The EUI and Eurofound will work together to bring the existing cooperation related to research on European social policies and welfare to a next level, particularly in consideration of latest social trends related to the impact of the pandemic on EU citizens. New areas of common interest will be employment, working and living conditions, as well as transnational governance.

Both parties will collaborate on a series of joint activities, including research, high-level policy dialogues, workshops and executive trainings, staff and study visits.

The two institutions may also develop a research ‘capstone project’, involving researchers and master students at the EUI.

The European University Institute (EUI) is the leading institute in Europe dedicated to social sciences and humanities. Founded in 1972 by the six original members of the then European Communities, the EUI has earned a reputation as a transnational hub of research and higher learning.
