Empower awarded turnkey contract for optical ground wire (OPGW) installation for E.On in Sweden

Empower AB has been awarded significant turnkey contract for E.ON Elnät Sverige AB on design, installation and delivery of materials for a 90 kilometers long optical ground wire (OPGW) between Nässjö and Alvesta in the southern part of Sweden. The contract includes also installation of wooden poles, steel towers and top wires. The top wire with all its equipment will be erected on nearly 500 poles.

The project will last for about 4 months with a power break and it will be commenced on June, 2015.
