Ekornes appoints Fredrik Samson as new Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Ekornes is pleased to announce the appointment of Fredrik Samson as Chief Operations Officer (COO), effective October 1. In his new role, Fredrik will lead Ekornes' global production and supply chain operations and join the Executive Management Team.

Fredrik Samson brings over 20 years of experience in managerial and leadership roles within production, supply chain, and procurement in international environments. His extensive background includes transforming and modernizing production lines, managing advanced warehouses, and leading significant operational improvements across various sectors.

Fredrik holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and is a certified Lean & Six Sigma Black Belt project manager. At 50 years old, he enjoys running in his free time. Although he resides with his family in Norrköping, Sweden, Fredrik will be frequently visiting Sykkylven and our sites worldwide.
