Reliable Cut Protection at the Highest Level
The demand for protective gloves with high cut protection is growing across all industries. For this reason the Swedish PPE specialist, Ejendals, has expanded its portfolio with four new models with cut protection levels C and D, respectively.
From automotive and metal fabrication to maintenance work – in various industries, working on delicate, sharp-edged metal objects is part of the daily tasks. In these areas, protective gloves must prevent hand injuries and ensure very high dexterity. With the help of the latest material and manufacturing technology, Ejendals has succeeded in combining these requirements in its new cut protection gloves.
All-round
Ejendals has designed the TEGERA®435 and TEGERA® 436 as entry-level models with cut protection C and D, respectively. The proprietary cut protection fiber TEGERA® CRF Technology, prevents cuts when handling sharp-edged workpieces. At the same time these models soft and very comfortable to wear. The PU coating ensures a very good grip, even in slightly oily environments. Thanks to the touchscreen function, machines controlled via tablet or screen can be operated without any problems. A significant advantage is the wide range of sizes; both glove models are available in sizes 5 to 12.
High durability
New in the range of Ejendals are also the TEGERA 438 and TEGERA 439, with cut protection level C and D, respectively. Thanks to the proprietary cut protection fiber TEGERA CRF Omni Technology, these models are very thin, soft and flexible. Nevertheless, the gloves prove to be extremely durable in everyday work and guarantee a high level of cut protection. In addition to the extensive PU coating, these protective gloves have an additional reinforcement between the index finger and thumb.
Colour codes clarify the level of protection
To avoid confusion, the conspicuous colour coding on the cuffs is a useful detail. "Red on TEGERA 435 and 438 stands for cut protection level C, purple on TEGERA 436 and 439 for cut protection level D," explains Karin Hedlund, Product Manager Safety Gloves at Ejendals. "This way, you can tell at first glance whether the right cut protection is being worn. A plus in safety!"
