Press release -

New protective gloves made of sustainable materials combine maximum safety with excellent wear quality.

The industry is increasingly focusing on ecology and sustainability across all sectors. In PPE, Ejendals is one of the pioneers and is now expanding its portfolio of protective gloves made of sustainable materials, with the new TEGERA®457 cut protection glove and the TEGERA® 863 and TEGERA®932 assembly gloves.

"Our customers are paying more attention to sustainability," explains Karin Hedlund, Product Manager Safety Gloves at Ejendals. "About three years ago we upgraded our three thinnest cut protection gloves with bio-based Dyneema® fibers. We are now expanding our portfolio with an innovative cut protection glove and two highly functional "all-rounders" that are ideal for use in assembly."

Innovative protection against cuts; Level C

Since bio-based cut protection fibers and recycled polyester is used in the production of this glove model, energy is saved and CO2 emissions are reduced. To put this into perspective, the carbon dioxide emissions for each pair of gloves with bio-based Dyneema fiber are 0.45 kg lower than with conventional Dyneema fiber. "Thus, with these products, we also support our customers in advancing their goal to reduce CO2 emissions," Hedlund adds.

Special cut protection gloves are needed to prevent cuts from sharp-edged working materials or tools. The model is touchscreen-compatible and thus enables the control of machines via tablets or screen control panels.
