At yesterday's Environmental Packaging Awards ceremony, Duni Group won the bronze medal in the Food Service/Food-on-the-Go category for its full fiber packaging range (Bagasse), marketed under the Duni brand. Duni Group was also one of two finalists in the Soft Drinks category with its Breeze cups.
With a mutual commitment to innovation and sustainability, Duni Group and the Swedish start-up company LipLid enter into a collaboration. As a result of the initiative, Duni Group is now launching a new type of lid for its take-away cups - with a unique design and with good functional and sustainability performance without added PFAS, developed by LipLid.

This year's EcoVadis results have recently been published, and once again, Duni Group has improved its performance for the fifth year in a row. As a first step of the collaboration, Duni Group is launching a new plastic-free food packaging with a unique algae coating, developed by Notpla, which offers both functionality and improved environmental performance.

Duni Group’s journey towards fossil-free operations continues as the first delivery of fossil free propane gas (BioLPG) arrived at the subsidiary Rexcell Tissue & Airlaid’s in Skåpafors. The transition to BioLPG is a major step forward to an increasingly circular business model and a lower climate impact. Duni Group is therefore the first company in the paper industry and the world to use BioLPG.
