"It feels absolutely right to hand over the CEO role to Maria who has extensive experience in developing business expansion in the Tech industry and well-documented leadership skills,"" says Patrik Nilsson, co-founder and current CEO of Dugga.

There have been several other candidates who sought the CEO role, but the choice eventually fell on Maria.

- "We were looking for a candidate with high competence and who really wants to make a difference in learning within the world of education. It will be exciting to take Dugga to the next phase together with Maria, which is to scale the company internationally," says Claudia Rademaker, co-founder and VP at Dugga.

- "To have the opportunity to lead one of Sweden's most interesting and fastest growing EdTech companies which started as a research project at Stockholm School of Economics, feels incredibly exciting.
