Goodyear and Dunlop showcase forward-looking technology concepts at Geneva International Motor Show 2015

Goodyear, one of the world’s largest tire companies, today announces a preview of what to expect at the company’s stand, No. 2056 in hall 2 at the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show.

The company will showcase two forward-looking Goodyear concept tires addressing future mobility challenges. One might deliver a solution for powering future vehicles, while the other might provide a new level of versatility to adjust to changing driving conditions and enhance performance.

“Goodyear’s Innovation Center in Luxembourg created these concept tires to inspire solutions for mobility challenges we are likely to face in the future”, said Jean-Pierre Jeusette, General Director of the Goodyear Innovation Center Luxembourg.

Additionally, Goodyear will debut its new line of EfficientGrip Performance tires with an AA label grade. The AA label delivers the highest grade set out by the European tire label regulation and signifies a tire that delivers an “A” in both fuel efficiency and wet grip. Goodyear now provides one of the largest number of tire size options achieving AA tire label grades.

At its Geneva stand, the company will also celebrate Dunlop’s motorsport heritage and the determination behind its drivers. Dunlop will showcase the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 in partnership with the Mercedes AMG Driving Academy. Dunlop is developing new specification race tires for both AMG and the Nürburgring with the aim of repeating their 2013 win.

Finally, Dunlop will highlight a set of racing tires that bring more strategic variables to the event for both drivers and teams in the world of racing.
