Ford Explorer vinder prestigefuld designpris
Ford Explorer har vundet, ’The Red Dot Award’, en af verdens mest anerkendte og prestigefyldte designpriser. Ford Explorer hyldes bl.a. for dens iøjnefaldende design og innovative funktioner.
De første Ford Explorer er netop rullet af samlebåndet på fabrikken i Tyskland, og nu kan elbilen kalde sig vinder af den internationale designpris ’The Red Dot Award’. Bag prisen sidder en jury bestående af medlemmer fra 20 forskellige lande, der bl.a. består af alt fra designere, journalister og professorer. Uafhængig af hinanden vurderer juryen hvert nomineret produkt udfra en række kriterier såsom innovationsgrad, funktionalitet, ergonomi, holdbarhed og bæredygtighed.
- Ford Explorer imponerer udvendigt med sit særprægede SUV-design og indvendigt med teknisk udstyr af høj kvalitet, lyder begrundelsen bl.a. fra juryen bag ’The Red Dot Award’, der i år har uddelt prisen for 69. gang. Ford vinder i kategorien 'product design'.

Ford Explorer er netop blevet leveret til de første kunder herhjemme, men allerede inden da har elbilen fået en overvældende modtagelse blandt danskerne. De danske kunder har ligget i front med de online bestillinger af bilen siden foråret, hvor der blev åbnet for bestilling.
