Fra den 13. april forvandles Copenhagen Contemporary til et fantasifuldt monsterunivers, når CC slår dørene op for deres nye treårige udstillings- og læringsprojekt, CC Create. Til projektets første del har den verdensberømte britiske performancekunstner Monster Chetwynd indtaget Hal 4 og skabt et 800 kvm stort atelier fyldt med møl, flagermus og forvredne kattehoveder.

‘I draw to see what I am thinking’, says British artist Emma Talbot, encapsulating her approach to art making. Opening on February 1st at Copenhagen Contemporary (CC), her exhibition Are you a living thing that is dying, or a dying thing that is living? delves into questions of how to live and hope amidst ecological collapse.

Copenhagen Contemporary (CC) is Copenhagen’s international art center showing installation art created by world stars and new emerging talents. CC occupies the magnificent former B&W welding hall offering a total of 7,000 m2 of beautiful industrial halls with plenty of space to show the technical and large formats in which many contemporary artists work: total installations, performance art, and monumental video works.
