Baltic Development Forum Summit 2009 Stockholm

Det övergripande temat för årets toppmöte - "Östersjöområdets Davos" - är Boosting Top of Europe. Mötet hålls i anslutning till det svenska ordförandeskap i EU och arrangeras med Swedbank som huvudsponsor. Frågor om Östersjöregionens konkurrenskraft, den finansiella och ekonomiska krisen, Östersjöns miljöproblem, klimat- och energiagendan och EU-strategin för Östersjöregionen står i fokus.

The Baltic Development Forum Summit 2009 is titled "Boosting Top of Europe". The Summit is organised in association with the Swedish EU-Presidency and with Swedbank as Summit Partner. As the regional "Davos" the Summit brings together relevant actors from different sectors and countries to discuss the most pressing issues related to the Baltic Sea Region.

Arminta Saladžienė, ordförande i Nasdaq OMXs styrelse i Litauen och ordförande i exekutiva kommittén för den nyligen etablerade Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance har tilldelats Swedbanks Baltic Sea Award 2009 för sitt arbete kring god bolagsstyrning i de baltiska länderna.

Arminta Saladžienė, Chairman of the Management Board of NASDAQ OMX, Lithuania, and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the newly established Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance has been honoured with the Swedbank Baltic Sea Award 2009 for her work regarding good corporate governance in the Baltic States.
