SUNOTEC and Huawei sign MoU to contribute to battery energy storage systems in Europe

Shenzhen, China, 8 March. Big news! SUNOTEC & Huawei Technologies Bulgaria EOOD have signed a MoU in Shenzhen/China. Strengthening cooperation, they will supply cutting-edge battery energy storage systems to Bulgaria. Signed by SUNOTEC’s CEO Kaloyan Velichkov, and Huawei's GM, Li Shaowei, this marks a significant step towards integrating innovative energy solutions into Bulgaria’s major projects.

Für den neuen Solarpark in der Gemeinde Dallgow-Döberitz erfolgte jetzt der Baustart: Die PV-Anlage liefert in Zukunft 6,5 Megawatt grünen Strom für Brandenburg. securenergy solutions AG und SUNOTEC setzen den dritten Solarpark aus dem Joint Venture SECURSUN-Portfolio um. Über 50 weitere sind in Deutschland noch bis 2026 geplant.

1.1 gigawatt portfolio: SECURSUN starts construction of first solar parks in Germany

SECURSUN has started the construction of the first solar parks in Germany from its portfolio of around 1.1 gigawatts. In total, more than 50 utility solar PV parks will be completed between the end of 2023 and 2026. All plants will be planned and constructed by the Berlin-based project developer securenergy solutions and SUNOTEC, Europe’s market leader in the construction of solar parks.

A record-breaking year: SUNOTEC builds solar parks with an output of 2.3 gigawatts

Last year, SUNOTEC delivered photovoltaic projects with an output of around 2.3 gigawatts peak (GWp). By way of comparison, the whole of France built PV plants supplying 2.7 GWp in the same time. 2022 turned out to be the most successful year in the company’s history, as the market leader in the construction of ground-mounted photovoltaic plants connected more than 70 new solar parks to the grid.

124 megawatts: SUNOTEC builds Bulgaria’s largest solar power plant

Bulgaria’s largest solar power plant is due to be completed by spring 2023. It will increase solar power generation in the country by 12 percent. Being built in hilly terrain south of Sofia, the new power plant will generate green electricity with a capacity of 124 megawatts peak. The Verila project is being delivered by SUNOTEC, the European market leader in the construction of solar parks.
