Attensi with SportScheck in the final for German Human Resources Award – Game-Based Training from Norway

The Norwegian company Attensi, a leader in gamified employee training, together with its customer SportScheck, is among the three finalists of the Deutscher Personalwirtschaftspreis 2023 (German Human Resources Award), in the "Talent & Learning" category. The renowned award, which recognizes outstanding achievements and innovations in the field of human resources and employee development, will be handed out on September 11 in Cologne.

Attensi and the sporting goods chain store were nominated for their simulation training aimed at the training of SportScheck employees. Attensi uses state-of-the-art training platforms that combine psychological insights, game-based training, engaging narrative, and immersive dialogue in realistic scenarios. The simulation training enables employees to have an interactive and entertaining learning experience that promotes active participation and skills development. Progress can be accurately measured.

The nominated Attensi simulation training has a mobile-first approach, granting employees access to training content at any time and from any location. This is particularly beneficial in the hospitality and retail sector. In contrast to traditional training methods, Attensi focuses on interactive learning in small steps instead of frontal teaching. The training content is bespoke, tailored to the needs and goals of the respective company, and can be easily edited by them.

The benefits of Attensi training are measurable. Employees show increased motivation and are less overwhelmed, the onboarding is shortened and the fluctuation in the company is reduced. The training also addresses the challenges of the shortage of skilled workers. For many clients, double-digit percentage sales increases can be demonstrated if employees are trained with Attensi simulation training.

Attensi has its roots in the innovative Norwegian gaming industry and has a track record of more than 11 years worldwide in developing personalized training solutions for companies across diverse industries. Customers include Mercedes-Benz, Bosch-Siemens Hausgeräte and Boehringer Ingelheim. In the Hospitality & Retail sector, there are customers such as Circle K, Vapiano, and Sephora.

"We are proud to be among the top 3 candidates for the German Human Resource Management Award 2023 in the category 'Talent & Learning', alongside with SportScheck," explains Trond Aas, CEO at Attensi. "Norway is a pioneer in the gamification industry, with a strong tradition in developing games and gamified applications. We benefit from this at Attensi. All development of our technology platform happens in Norway since it’s a hub for digitalization. Our local teams, such as those in Germany, then design and implement our solutions in close collaboration with our customers.”

Attensi will showcase its training solutions at Zukunft Personal Europe in Cologne from September 12th to 14th in hall 5.1 at booth L.32 in hall 5.1 to present its training solutions.
