Neue Trikots, neuer Teamgeist: Aroundtown fördert Berlin-Lichterfelder Basketball Verein

Die Aroundtown Foundation unterstützt den Lichterfelder Basketball e.V. in Berlin finanziell. Diese Spende wird speziell zur Anschaffung neuer Trikots für die insgesamt 36 Teams des Vereins verwendet, um die einheitliche Ausstattung und den Teamgeist weiter zu fördern.

Der Lichterfelder Basketball e.V. zeichnet sich seit jeher durch seine intensive und breitgefächerte Jugendarbeit aus. Schon die jüngsten Spieler:innen im Alter von sechs bis acht Jahren beginnen als Minis mit allgemeinen sportlichen Aktivitäten und Motoriktraining. Der Verein legt großen Wert darauf, dass auch die Jüngsten regelmäßig an Liga- und Turnierspielen teilnehmen, um frühzeitig ein Gefühl der Zugehörigkeit zu einem Team zu entwickeln. Mit derzeit 927 Mitgliedern, darunter 438 Kinder und Jugendliche im Alter von 7 bis 14 Jahren, hat der Verein eine beachtliche Größe erreicht. Die kontinuierliche Förderung von Nachwuchstalenten hat zu zahlreichen Erfolgen geführt, darunter 103 Berliner Meisterschaften und 28 Deutsche Meisterschaften in verschiedenen Altersgruppen.

Die Förderung von Kinder- und Jugendprojekten sowie sportlichen Aktivitäten gehört zu den Kernanliegen der Aroundtown Foundation. Die Unterstützung der Aroundtown Foundation stärkt somit das lokale Miteinander und fördert den sportlichen Ehrgeiz und Teamgeist der jungen Basketballer:innen bei über 550 Spielen pro Jahr.

New jerseys, new team spirit: Aroundtown supports Berlin-Lichterfelder Basketball Club

The Aroundtown Foundation is providing financial support to Lichterfelder Basketball e.V. in Berlin. This donation will be used specifically to purchase new jerseys for the club's 36 teams in order to further promote a unified appearance and team spirit.

Lichterfelder Basketball e.V. has always been characterised by its intensive and wide-ranging youth work. Even the youngest players, aged between six and eight, start as minis with general sporting activities and motor skills training. The club attaches great importance to ensuring that even the youngest players regularly take part in league and tournament matches in order to develop a sense of belonging to a team at an early age. With currently 927 members, including 438 children and young people aged between 7 and 14, the club has reached a considerable size. The continuous promotion of young talent has led to numerous successes, including 103 Berlin championships and 28 German championships in various age groups.

Supporting children and youth projects and sporting activities is one of the Aroundtown Foundation's core commitments. The Aroundtown Foundation's support strengthens the local community and promotes the sporting ambition and team spirit of the young basketball players at over 550 games per year.
