Aroundtowns nachhaltiges Portfolio wächst weiter
Aroundtown erweitert kontinuierlich das nachhaltige Portfolio und hat nun ebenfalls für ein Bürogebäude in Berlin-Mitte die BREEAM-Zertifizierung erhalten. Damit baut das Unternehmen den Bestand an grün zertifizierten Gebäuden weiter aus.
Das Bürogebäude in der Markgrafenstraße 17-18 in Berlin-Mitte hat eine Fläche von 7.000 m². Durch die Nähe zum historischen Wahrzeichen Checkpoint Charlie und zum zentralen Knotenpunkt Potsdamer Platz profitiert das Gebäude von einer umfangreichen Infrastruktur sowie einer ausgezeichneten Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr, da mehrere U- und S-Bahnstationen bequem zu Fuß erreichbar sind.
Die BREEAM-Zertifizierung, ein weltweit anerkanntes System zur Bewertung von grünen Gebäuden, unterstreicht das Engagement von Aroundtown für ein nachhaltiges und umweltfreundliches Büroportfolio. In Deutschland wurden bereits in Frankfurt, Leipzig, Bonn und Kassel verschiedene Gebäude nach BREEAM- bzw. DGNB-Standards zertifiziert und weitere Green-Building-Zertifikate sind in Vorbereitung. Dies unterstreicht das Engagement von Aroundtown für eine nachhaltige Immobilienstrategie.

Berlin office building at Checkpoint Charlie receives BREEAM certification
Aroundtown's green portfolio continues to grow
Aroundtown is continuously expanding its green portfolio and has now also received BREEAM certification for an office building in Berlin-Mitte. This further expands the company's portfolio of green-certified buildings.
The office building at Markgrafenstrasse 17-18 in Berlin-Mitte has an area of 7,000 m². Due to its proximity to the historic landmark Checkpoint Charlie and the central hub Potsdamer Platz, the building benefits from an extensive infrastructure as well as excellent public transport access, as several underground and suburban train stations are within easy walking distance.
BREEAM certification, a globally recognized green building rating system, underlines Aroundtown's commitment to a sustainable and environmentally friendly office portfolio. In Germany, various buildings in Frankfurt, Leipzig, Bonn and Kassel have already been certified to BREEAM or DGNB standards, and further green building certificates are in the pipeline. This underlines Aroundtown's commitment to a sustainable real estate strategy.
