Die Aroundtown Foundation unterstützt “Die Arche“ Kinderstiftung deutschlandweit. Mit den Geldern werden dringend benötigte Laptops und technische Ausstattung beschafft sowie Honorarkräfte der deutschlandweiten Hausaufgabenbetreuung bezahlt. Mit dieser konkreten Hilfe und Unterstützung vor Ort trägt die Aroundtown Foundation dazu bei, dass „Die Arche“ gerade auch zu Corona-Zeiten ihr Betreuungsangebot für sozial benachteiligte Kinder weiter ausbauen kann.

Im Kampf gegen Kinderarmut in Deutschland engagiert sich „Die Arche“ insbesondere für Kinder aus sozial benachteiligten Verhältnissen. Gegründet wurde der Verein auf Initiative von Pastor Bernd Siggelkow 1995 in Berlin-Hellersdorf. Mittlerweile gibt es deutschlandweit rund 27 Standorte, an denen mehr als 4.500 Kinder und Jugendliche erreicht werden.

Die Arche sieht es als ihre Aufgabe an, in der Öffentlichkeit auf soziale Missstände in unserer Gesellschaft hinzuweisen und auf breiter Ebene dafür zu werben, dass sich die Lebensbedingungen benachteiligter Kinder und Familien in unserem Land dauerhaft verbessern.

Die Arbeit mit Kindern, Jugendlichen und Familien umfasst dabei sechs Grundbausteine: FREIZEIT – sinnvolle Freizeitangebote, ESSEN – kostenlose Mahlzeiten, LERNEN – effektive Bildungsförderung, FREUNDE – nachhaltige Beziehungsarbeit, FERIEN – erlebnisreiche Feriencamps, FAMILIE – Hilfen und Beratung für Eltern.

Aroundtown Foundation supports the children's foundation "Die Arche" Germany-wide

The Aroundtown Foundation supports the children's foundation "Die Arche" throughout Germany. The funds are used to purchase urgently needed laptops and technical equipment, as well as to pay staff for homework supervision throughout Germany. With this concrete help and on-site support, the Aroundtown Foundation is helping to ensure that "Die Arche" can continue to expand its care services for socially disadvantaged children, especially during Corona times.

In the fight against child poverty in Germany, "Die Arche" is particularly committed to children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The association was founded on the initiative of Pastor Bernd Siggelkow in 1995 in Berlin-Hellersdorf. There are now around 27 locations throughout Germany, reaching more than 4,500 children and young people.

“Die Arche” sees it as its task to draw public attention to social grievances in our society and to campaign on a broad level for a lasting improvement in the living conditions of disadvantaged children and families in our country.
