Mit dem Wyndham Garden Potsdam erhält eines der ersten Hotelgebäude im Bestand von Aroundtown die BREEAM-Zertifizierung für nachhaltige Gebäude. Aroundtown lässt seit Jahren seinen europäischen Bürogebäudebestand BREEAM-zertifizieren.
Das 2-stöckige Hotelgebäude mit seinem abgesenkten roten Ziegeldach beherbergt 91 Gästezimmer im fürstlichen Ambiente. Zwei flexible Veranstaltungsräume stehen für kleine Meetings, größere Tagungen und feudale Feste zur Verfügung.
Das Gebäude steht in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Schlosspark Sanssouci. Dies ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um auf den Spuren der preußischen und brandenburgischen Geschichte zu wandeln.
Die gute Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, die sich in der unmittelbaren Nähe befinden, ermöglicht es innerhalb weniger Minuten unter anderem die Universität Potsdam sowie die Schlösser Cecilienhof und Babelsberg zu erreichen.
BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) ist international eines der führenden Zertifizierungssysteme für umweltfreundliche Gebäude, was in Deutschland vom TÜV durchgeführt wird. Es bewertet den ökologischen Fußabdruck, sozialkulturelle Aspekte und die Nachhaltigkeit von Immobilien. Die Zertifizierung unterstreicht die grüne Ausrichtung von Aroundtowns Gewerbeportfolio, das in Deutschland bereits 50 % aller Bürogebäude im Bestand zertifiziert hat. Aroundtown expands green real estate portfolio in Potsdam:
Wyndham Garden Hotel at Forststraße 80 receives BREEAM certificate
The Wyndham Garden Potsdam is one of the first hotel buildings in Aroundtown's portfolio to receive BREEAM certification for sustainable buildings. Aroundtown has been certifying its European office buildings according to BREEAM for years.
The two-storey hotel building, with its lowered red tiled roof, houses 91 guest rooms in a stately ambience. Two flexible function rooms are available for small meetings, larger conferences and lavish celebrations.
The building is located in the immediate vicinity of the Sanssouci Palace Park. This is an ideal starting point for exploring the history of Prussia and Brandenburg.
The excellent public transport links in the immediate vicinity make it possible to reach the University of Potsdam and the Cecilienhof and Babelsberg palaces, among other places, in just a few minutes.
BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is one of the leading international certification systems for environmentally friendly buildings, which is carried out in Germany by TÜV. It assesses the ecological footprint, socio-cultural aspects and sustainability of properties. The certification underlines the green orientation of Aroundtown's commercial portfolio, which has already certified 50% of all office buildings in its portfolio in Germany. In the Netherlands, Aroundtown's entire commercial portfolio has already been successfully certified green. BREEAM-certified Aroundtown hotels make an additional contribution to sustainability in tourism.
