Press release -
CEO change and new CFO at Danir
The Danir Group strengthens its leadership team as Fredrik Hedlund takes over as CEO of Danir AB and Marcus Pramgård as CFO.
Niclas Lundin, who has served as CFO and CEO of Danir AB for eleven years, will leave his position in September this year.
After making significant contributions as CFO and CEO of Danir, Niclas Lundin will be leaving the group. In preparation for the next phase of development, Danir has strengthened its leadership team with Fredrik Hedlund assuming the role of CEO of Danir AB and Marcus Pramgård as CFO.
Additionally, the owner family will maintain an active role in the company through Johan Glennmo, Chairman of Danir AB, and founder Dan Olofsson.
Johan Glennmo comments:
“Over the past decade, the Danir Group has increased its revenue tenfold to more than thirteen billion SEK, primarily through organic growth, and now has nearly ten thousand employees. This success is the result of extensive teamwork, driven by many dedicated employees, with Niclas Lundin playing a key role and making valuable contributions. We are now pleased to strengthen our core leadership team with Fredrik Hedlund and Marcus Pramgård, both of whom bring extensive experience in leading consulting businesses.”
Niclas Lundin comments:
“The past eleven years at Danir have been truly incredible, not only from a business perspective but also in terms of the experience of working within a family-owned group. By that, I mean both the drive to continuously develop and grow as a corporate group and the close relationships I have built with the owner family, as well as with all the fantastic leaders and colleagues across the organisation. I am very proud of what we have achieved together during my time at Danir. At the same time, this has been an intense, complex, and demanding role, and I now feel that the time is right for some rest before taking on new challenges. What those will be remains to be seen.”
Between 2013 and 2017, Fredrik Hedlund played a crucial role in establishing Sigma Connectivity, leading it from its spin-off from Sony Mobile to becoming a leading tech and design house as well as a global leader in the development of smart connected products. Following this, he was involved in the launch of Northvolt, where he held several senior leadership positions.
Fredrik Hedlund comments:
“I am excited to take on this new role and work alongside the Olofsson family and the dedicated leaders within the group to further develop Danir – both in its core consulting business, which operates across 27 countries with many outstanding companies, and in the exciting financial investments that Danir holds in its portfolio. Additionally, Danir takes significant responsibility for social and charitable initiatives, something I greatly appreciate.”
Marcus Pramgård has been CFO of the subsidiary Sigma Connectivity for the past nine years and has a deep understanding of Danir Group’s consulting business. As CFO, he has played a key role in Sigma Connectivity’s growth into a billion-SEK company and an important part of Danir Group.
Marcus Pramgård comments:
“My years at Sigma Connectivity have been incredibly rewarding, and if it weren’t for this particular opportunity, I would have gladly stayed with my colleagues there. In my new role, I am excited to continue working with Sigma Connectivity while also engaging with the many other fantastic companies within the Danir Group.”
