Women’s probiotic product awarded in Poland

The Polish dietary supplement “LaciBios® femina” with CH’s probiotic strains has been awarded for excellent product quality.

Again a product containing Chr. Hansen ingredients wins a quality award.
This time Polish LaciBios® femina, a dietary supplement restoring the natural balance of the female vagina, has been awarded the “THAT’s IT!” prize. The product, which is taken orally, contains Chr. Hansen’s well documented probiotic strains GR-1® and RC-14®.

The prize is issued by the Media Partner Group (the publisher of the economic inserts to four leading Polish newspapers), based on consumer evaluations. LaciBios® femina was chosen in the probiotic supplement category for its security and efficacy, its appealing package and display and not least, its documented sales and popular brand.

Awareness and leads

“Lacibios® has created a lot of positive awareness in the Polish market and also initiated many new requests from potential customers. They both want to have information from us regarding this particular concept as well as our probiotic products in general,” says Christian Due Jensen, Sales Manager, Health & Nutrition Division, Chr. Hansen.
"The capsule that serves as the basis for the Lacibios® product is a good example of the efficiency of having a conceptual product package offering our customer a full collection of product & properties, Intellectual Property Rights, clinical documentation and marketing back-up all in one," he concludes.

Facts

Statistically, every woman is subject to experience occasional balance disorders of the microflora, which may lead to many ailments and lower the comfort and quality of the woman’s life. LaciBios® femina contains two carefully selected strains of lactic acid bacteria which help restore and maintain a healthy vaginal flora.

The awarded product is marketed by ASA ltd a leader on the Polish market specializing in the production of dietary supplements and medical cosmetics (cosmeceuticals).

ASA is among the top five pharmaceutical companies on the dietary supplements market in Poland.
