Visualize and Experience
During Fi Europe 2007 Chr. Hansen will launch a number of innovations such as a new culture against listeria. Also new FruitMax™ coloring foodstuffs will see the first light of the day. Enter the Chr. Hansen stand (F21, South Hall) at FIE, taking place from October 30 to November 1
New culture against listeria
”Consumers want food products to taste well, be healthy and produced in a sustainable way, but more than anything they want them to be safe,” says Eva Stenby, Marketing Manager, Meat Cultures, Chr. Hansen.
“Not only do we know this, we are also acting upon it. Therefore FIE will be used as a platform for presenting a new culture in the combat against listeria,” she promises.
Enzyme modified cheese flavors in action
”The global consumer market calls for a great deal of variety in taste and texture,” explains Kristian Lerche Nielsen, Marketing Manager, Flavors. ”We are providing food manufacturers with inspiration and know-how that can help them create fat-reduced food products while maintaining a good and original taste. At the FIE stand we will show how dairy flavor solutions can both be tasty, delicious and economical.”
More yoghurt, less sugar
”Consumers have demanded low fat products for several years. With our Yo-flex® cultures, Chr. Hansen makes it possible to manufacture products with a mild taste and high viscosity. Due to the higher viscosity, less sugar and less milk fat are needed,” says Karoline Kjærulff, Marketing Manager.
Bottom line: It looks better, tastes better and has fewer calories.
Probiotic whey drinks
Probiotic whey drinks with health benefits? They may become a new bestseller on the supermarket shelves!
Both low-fat and full of easily digested proteins, whey is a healthy product that compares favorably to other dairy products as a basis for drinks catering to the health trend. And with the addition of probiotics, whey becomes even healthier.
No doubt that’s the ‘whey’ to go! Get a heath shot at our stand.
New members of the FruitMax™ family
“At FIE we will present new coloring foodstuffs in the FruitMax™ range,” says Charlotte Gylling Olsen, International Product Manager, Colors.
“Several market surveys show a European consumer trend in terms of eating natural and healthy foods. Food manufacturers and food retailers are striving to fulfil this trend by providing products made from raw materials coming directly from nature.
The FruitMax™ range has been created from well-known and approved fruits, vegetables and spices. The raw materials contain a naturally high amount of pigment. The FruitMax™ can be considered as coloring foodstuffs and labelled as such.”
See and taste our natural colors
”We are presenting our natural colors in soft drinks and confectionary, in soft drinks and hard boiled candy, among others,” announces Susanne Roenfeldt, Specialist Technical Industry Manager, Colors. “Products in which adults want to find indulgence and health – and from which children expect to have fun and entertainment.”
“Visitors coming by the stand will experience bright and vivid shades – developed through advanced technology. Come and see – have a treat,” promises Susanne Roenfeldt.
