Powerful probiotic solutions with multiple action
Probiotics and vitamin C for immune support; probiotics and oral rehydration solution for improved diarrhea management. Meet Chr. Hansen at the Vitafoods Asia 2012 trade show.
“Once again, we will have our Asian team in place when the doors open to the Vitafoods Asia exhibition on September 5,” says Chr. Hansen’s Charlotte Beyerholm, Marketing Director, Human Health & Nutrition Division. “In particular, we are looking forward to discussing the properties of our latest probiotic innovations with our Asian customers: Our Lactobacillus L. casei 431® plus vitamin C chewable tablet and the brand new Lactobacillus rhamnosus LGG® plus Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) stick powder.”
New probiotic product samples
Chr. Hansen’s extensive technology platform makes it possible to combine probiotics with other natural ingredients. “Our new probiotic chewable tablet combines Lactobacillus L. casei 431® and vitamin C and is an ideal "dual action" combination for immune support,” Charlotte Beyerholm explains.
“Further, with the combination of the probiotic strain LGG® and ORS, we have created a "triple action" product for tackling diarrhea. Not only is the duration of diarrhea reduced, but the product also helps recovery from dehydration and supports to restore a healthy intestinal flora,” Beyerholm explains.
The three benefits are:
1. Shortens duration of diarrhea
2. Prevention of/recovery from dehydration
3. Support to restore the intestinal flora
Chr. Hansen will be hosting a probiotic seminar on September 6 where Charlotte Beyerholm and Regional Sales Director Sune Schmoelker will talk about some of the most common misconceptions about probiotics.
