Meet us at Food Ingredients China 2011
At this year’s Food Ingredients China (FIC) which takes place in Shanghai on March 23 - 25, 2011, Chr. Hansen will be showcasing its probiotic offerings from the Probio-Tec® range.
“Our chewable tablets and stick packs are formulated with various flavors – and visitors at FIC are invited to taste them,” says Charlotte Beyerholm, Marketing Manager, Health & Nutrition Division. “We will be giving out samples of our products in strawberry, vanilla, peppermint, and orange flavors.”
“Furthermore, we will be promoting our newly launched anti-constipation concept, offering sample sticks containing our probiotic strain BB-12® and fiber. Combining Chr. Hansen’s documented probiotics with carefully selected fibers provides an excellent mix which could be promoted as attractive “2 in 1” or “double action” products tailored to tackle constipation.” The supplement format is a 6 g stick with powder to be sifted over breakfast cereals or poured into a glass of water daily or twice a day.
Probiotics seminar
Chr. Hansen will be hosting the seminar “Not just any bacteria will do” on March 23 at 13:30 – 14:30 in room no. 7, 2nd floor. Attendees will learn about the difference between species and strains. Specific focus is made on clinical documentation and the fact that probiotic health benefits are strain related.
