Ice cream inspiration in ByOn’s new collection spring & summer 2021
Believe it or not, but the world of ice cream has been a great source of inspiration when ByOn created the spring and summer collection 2021. The pastel colours, the texture, the joy, the personal mix of tastes and not least the feeling of always putting something extra on top. ByOn continues its mission to make the everyday more joyful and to create interior design which makes us smile.
– ”Every day is party perfect” is our motto for the second season in a row. It is about a way of seeing life and most of all a way of living, says Beatrice Lindgren, concept and purchasing manager at Sagaform AB. We want to give people the possibility to surround themselves with details providing energy and smiles. Which might be even more important in times of social distancing both at work and privately.
ByOn’s spring and summer collection 2021 is colour sparkling and energetic. It’s characterized by bombastic shapes and exciting texture. We see frills, plaits and fringes. Green is one of the base colours of the collection and it comes in many different nuances. Lavender is combined with deep and eccentric tones of pink. Brown, beige and vanilla-yellow create balance, while lemon-yellow and chili-red provide extra bounce and energy. The surfaces are mixed and we continue to see combinations of colours in the same product.
– Ice cream with different tastes and texture has inspired us in this collection. The texture and the soft shapes, the colour range and the mix of tones, the joy and how tastes can be mixed and matched to create personal favourites. Then the topping and sprinkles adding something extra which makes all the difference in the end. This is exactly how we see interior decorating, how to set the table and mix products from this collection, says Beatrice Lindgren.
ByOn has during several seasons let nature move into its collections. Animals in different shapes keep on taking up space, both wild ones and tame. Even the shapes of the sea are making an impression. New this season are more bombastic and diffuse shapes, products which let your imagination do the job.
