Breaking the rules – the motto when Byon launches AW22

For Byon playfulness has no limits. With the new collection we want to break rules and norms, nothing is wrong and everything is right! Byon AW22 draws attention to itself with mischievous shapes and pop colours. The most important colour in the collection is fiery red, a nuance which can be mixed to advantage with orange, turquoise and brown tones. Handblown glass becomes glass art when mixed with textiles, porcelain, stoneware and metals. For you who still have a childish mind nothing is strange and everything is normal, also the autumn collection from Byon.

Byon becomes more and more clear about where it stands and where it’s going, the concept is a whole world where everything fits in and is allowed. What Byon wants most of all is to make people be themselves and dare to let their creative mind flow. Mix and maximize with colours, shapes, materials, old and new.

– Byon AW22 is a wonderful creative chaos. Sparkling energy is mixed with clear functionality. We see more of chunky shapes which become cocky and take up space. They blend with handblown glass to create a feeling of modern art. This is a collection which is luxuriously playful, explains Beatrice Lindgren, design and concept manager at Sagaform AB with the brand Byon.

This season’s it-colour is fiery red and it’s mixed with pop colours like power-blue, apple-green and orange. Also tones of black and beige neutralize and create a cool foundation. The textures are organic and twisted, the surfaces are both matt and natural. Stripes are mixed with squares, but not in a regulated and correct way but mischievous and crooked. The world of games continues to inspire, just like animals, playful bubbles and delicious sweets. As always Byon is offering lovely and extravagant interior design details spreading joy and energy.

– For us Byon is more than interior decoration, it’s a way of living, believing and existing. A concept where we call for more people to go their own way and decorate without rules, explains Sara Wernerby, marketing manager at Sagaform AB with the brand Byon.

To clarify its position Byon recently introduced an updated identity with a new logo, a new expression and a new packaging design. Perhaps greatest of it all was the opening of its own new world at Byondesign.se where you can take part of everything Byon believes in and stands for.
