BODUM Chambord has been gilded

Since the original design of the Chambord French press in the 50s, it has practically been the icon of BODUM. Yet it keeps showing up in new versions. Like now, when BODUM is launching the Chambord coffee and tea maker in beautiful gold plate. Both the brewing method and the original idea are still intact.

The difference between the fifties and now is our high standards for eco-friendly production, which particularly applies to the plating process. The environmental considerations align well with the BODUM motto: ”Make taste. Not waste”. No paper filters or capsules. Nothing superfluous when you brew using Chambord. You may also go for the gold when considering storage glasses. BODUM Classic is available in 4 different sizes that match the cans perfectly.

Last, but not least: A good cup of coffee or tea should, according to BODUM, be served in a glass. That is the Canteen double-sided glass, which keeps the content hot longer. Without burning your fingers. And that may be worth gold too.

BODUM has started a new design line using cork. It is one of Nature’s most beautiful and functional materials. Cork is produced from the bark of the Cork Oak growing in the Mediterranean area, especially in Portugal, that delivers about half of all the cork used worldwide.
