CRIME+INVESTIGATION MARCH PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS

THE JAIL: 60 DAYS IN

Fridays from 13th March at 21.00

For the first time in The Jail: 60 Days In history, more participants struggle to survive the intense program and are forced to quit the program early, as the newly elected Sheriff takes over one of the worst facilities the series has ever seen.

After two decades, the Etowah County Detention Center in Alabama is under new management and the newly elected Sheriff is determined to make a change. In his first week, he decided to shakedown the facility and in one day alone, found more than 200 broken door locks, drugs and removed more than two tons of contraband. With no time to lose, Sheriff Horton along with Chief Peek and select members of their team have agreed to embed innocent participants to uncover the issues that plague the facility.

This season, the participants will face the biggest challenge of their lives in an effort to rid a jail, that is in dire need of help, of contraband and corruption before it is too late. S6 (17x60)

ONCE UPON A CRIME

Saturdays from 7th March at 21.00

Once Upon A Crime is a Polish documentary series, in which seven best-selling Polish crime writers review true crime cases.

In each episode, one true crime story will be told by one of the following Polish crime fiction authors: Katarzyna Bonda, Igor Brejdygant, Wojciech Chmielarz, Marta Guzowska, Małgorzata and Michał Kuźmiński and Katarzyna Puzyńska. Each crime writer has co-authored the script for their episode, allowing them to take on the role of narrator and tell each story in their own distinct way, reminiscent of their writing style. They will also have access to police files and crime experts to allow the viewer a full scope of the crime.

SURVIVING R. KELLY PART II : THE RECKONING

Brand new episodes continue every Wednesday at 22.00

The original, ground breaking documentary-series Surviving R. Kelly was based on the theme of ‘hiding in plain sight’. Kelly's music itself often acted as a near confession to the constant rumours that were circulating. Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning will continue to tell the story with a three day special. Following the release of SRK, the world has been shattered by our survivors stories, with people around the globe rallying around them as everyone calls for justice. With recent developments in the case, new tapes surfacing, and a possible arrest, the present-day investigations will be the spine of the new documentary special. But in order to understand what's currently at stake, we'll dive deeper than ever before as to how R. Kelly escaped previous trials and into larger, intellectual themes that surrounded the case both then & now. (5x60)
