Axel Johnson extends its partnership with The Global Village/Järvaveckan until 2026. This year's Järvaveckan takes place from May 29 to June 1, and Axel Johnson is participating alongside companies from the group and partners from civil society.
Axel Johnson's central business area for diversity and inclusion, Axelerate, begins the year by entering two new partnerships. One with the non-profit organization Beredskapslyftet and one with F1RST. Both of these partnerships are aimed at harnessing the power of business through various initiatives to promote inclusion and utilize human ambition and capability.
Björn Annwall, CFO of Volvo Cars, has been appointed to the board of Axel Johnson AB.
Sara Öhrvall will start after the summer as the new COO and member of group management at Axel Johnson. She is expected to take over after the summer. She comes most recently from SEB, where she is currently Chief Transformation Officer.
Jonas Samuelson, President and CEO of Electrolux, has today been named to Axel Johnson's Board of Directors. Jonas has been with Electrolux since 2008 and is President and CEO since 2016. He has extensive experience of multinational industrial companies, including SAAB Automobile and General Motors.

Stina Andersson, current Strategy and Business Development Manager at Tele2, will be new Chief Operating Officer at Axel Johnson. The role is new and will form part of Group Management. Stina is expected to take office in early 2019.
Stina is currently Strategy and Business Development Manager and responsible for IoT at Tele2. She was previously Investment Director and Strategic Manager of
Axel Johnson becomes main partner to The Global Village, the non-profit association behind Järvaveckan – a meeting place for politicians, citizens, trade and industry to talk about integration, diversity, social sustainability and gender equality. In total, Axel Johnson donates up to SEK 4.5 million over a period of three years to The Global Village or a foundation formed by The Global Village.
