Rotterdam is the place to be for all CityChangers from June 5 to 7, 2024. On September 26, Chantal Zeegers, Vice Mayor of Rotterdam and Gerald Babel-Sutter, CEO of Urban Future have invited active and innovative organisations within the area to get involved in Europe’s most inspiring event for sustainable cities – Urban Future 2024 (#UF24).

Dutch ‘CityChangers’ are joining forces to host Europe’s most inspiring event for sustainable cities that is coming to Rotterdam on June 5-7, 2024. On September 26, Chantal Zeegers, Vice Mayor of Rotterdam and Gerald Babel-Sutter, CEO of Urban Future have invited Rotterdam’s most active and innovative organisations within the field of urban sustainability to the Kick-off for #UF24.

Im Juni kommt Europas wichtigste Konferenz für nachhaltige Städte nach Stuttgart. Die Urban Future ist der Auftakt von einer Reihe spannender Veranstaltungen zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit. Es geht um die Frage: Wie machen wir unsere Städte besser? Die Einladung der Initiatoren an die Bürgerinnen der Stadt ist deutlich: Mitreden, Mitmachen, Mitentscheiden!

During Urban Future 2022, the Mayor of Helsingborg, Peter Danielsson had the opportunity to welcome the next Urban Future hosting city and hand over the Urban Future tree to Stuttgart Mayor Thomas Fuhrmann.

At the beginning of June 2022, Urban Future 22 gathered 1500+ CityChangers from all fields and hierarchies from across the globe. During three intense days, thousands of new personal connections had been made between the 1,500 CityChangers from 350+ cities.

On June 1, the session “Innovation Kick-starter for cities” will include an iCapital panel discussion, which will take a close look at the cities that have found a way to innovate and already do so quite successfully. The session is followed by the iCapital Alumni Network inaugural meeting in the afternoon.
