Ready in time for International Yoga Day on 21 of June 2022, ARMEDANGELS launches its new activewear colour drop. The mix and match range is already available in Black, Indigo, Powder Rose and Rosemary Green and comes now with new colours Apricot, Fudge and Avocado.

Breathable, antibacterial and dyed at low temperatures: with the maximum of recycled materials, ARMEDANGELS launched its first activewear drop last autumn, taking sustainable sportswear to a new level.

The styles are perfect for all types of activities with their maximum comfort, quick-drying, breathable fibers and maximum flexibility. The collection includes shorts and leggings with hidden pockets in the waistband, lower and high-support sports bras, tops and classic longsleeves. Whether for cardio or meeting at the café, ARMEDANGELS ACTIVEWEAR has comfort in mind for every day and everywhere.

(RE)CYCLING TO THE MAX.

In 2021, ARMEDANGELS reached a new milestone in its commitment to resource conservation with an activewear capsule collection made primarily from recycled fibers, ensuring that the use of fresh fibers is kept to a minimum. New material technology combined with a maximum of pre-consumer recycled content makes the sports bras and leggings quick-drying and breathable. The innovative GRS-certified* material used for the designs contains 100% recycled polyamide mixed with elastane made of 58% recycled material. This amounts to 93% of recycled fibers.

Sportswear made of wood? You bet! ARMEDANGELS shows how it's done. The tops and shirts of the activewear are based on a performance-conscious material mix of Tencel™ Lyocell, organic cotton and elastane. Light and airy and with the characteristic stretchy feel, they allow movement in all directions, whether planking, stretching or acrobatic poses. In addition, a Naturally Clean® finish is used to protect colours and surface feel and extend the life of each piece by at least 20%. The result: less CO2, less water and less waste.

Why did ARMEDANGELS choose recycled polyamide? For one, valuable fresh fibers can be saved by using recycled material. For another, it's durable and breathable as well as quick-drying properties make it ideal for performance fabrics - something that natural fibers like cotton cannot offer with current technologies. In addition, following the care instructions and using a wash bag for activewear guarantees the styles have a long life and protects the environment!
