Night releases final single from upcoming album
Night releases ”Crimson Past” on August 14. The track is the third and final single from the Swedish rockers' upcoming album ”High Tides - Distant Skies”, out September 11 on The Sign Records. With Mark Knopfler- influenced guitar tones, dreamy lyrics, and a strong vocal presence throughout the track, ”Crimson Past” can in many ways be described as the ballad of the album.
Night is back with a new release, "High Tides - Distant Skies", an album that clearly demonstrates the band's new take on classic-sounding rock. On the 9 new tracks, you'll hear big choruses, vocal harmonies, and a more-is-more approach to songwriting. The flying V guitars heard on the previous albums have been switched out to single-coils and the compositions are more widely-appealing than before.
The third and final single from Nights' upcoming album is called "Crimson Past" and will be out on all digital platforms on August 14. Arguably being the ballad of the album, the song mixes Mark Knopfler / Dire Straits - sounding guitar licks with thoughtful melodies and dreamy lyrics. A must-listen for all lovers of ‘80s pop-rock.
