Radcliffe East by-election on Thursday 8 June

A council by-election will be held in Radcliffe East ward on Thursday 8 June, the same day as the General Election.

The by-election has been prompted by the resignation of Councillor Nick Parnell, who has held the seat for the last seven years and is the council’s deputy cabinet member for strategic housing and support services.

Anyone who wishes to stand as a candidate in the by-election has until 4pm on Thursday 11 May to submit their nomination forms. Nomination papers can be collected from the elections office at Bury Town Hall.
